RIC Offers New Intensive Aphasia Therapy Program

The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) is now offering a new clinical, outpatient program for individuals with aphasia. The RIC Intensive Aphasia Therapy Program is a four-week long, intensive communication program starting in September, 2008 that is designed to improve communications skills and ultimately help individuals attain a greater quality of life.

RIC's “Prime of Life” stroke rehabilitaion brings back independence

The RIC Prime of Life stroke rehabilitation program is specially designed for people with stroke, who’s multi-faceted and rigorous lives demand aggressive intervention. Often, those patients are younger and face greater demands, such as caring for a family, continuing a career or community involvement, engaging in an active social life and enjoying intimate relationships.
