RIC's Innovative Cerebral Palsy Research Featured on Good Morning America
RIC researchers are intertwining the timeless art of dance and the discipline of rehabilitation in a study aimed at developing innovative, evidence-based therapies for individuals with cerebral palsy. In conjunction with RIC’s Caring for Kids program, which holds dance classes for kids with cerebral palsy every Saturday, a research team led by Citlali Lopez-Ortiz, PhD, teaches children with cerebral palsy to dance and utilizes a motion analysis system to learn more about movement coordination and motor learning.
